Hands down my most trusted Mini cooper auto repair shop in the Greater Los Angeles area. We started coming here after we moved to LA in 2017, and Mark and team have never disappointed us. Mark is super knowledgeable about Minis and is able to explain any technical issues with the car using Layman's terms. He is super patient and is willing to work with us to make sure we make the best decisions for our Mini. the fact that he is a Mini enthusiast like ourselves truly helps! They are situated in a great location close to 405 freeway between South Bay and Long Beach making it convenient for me to drop off / pick up the car to / from work in Long Beach. A few years ago, I started going to Mark's shop. My 2009 MINI Cooper S was experiencing major issues: the infamous "chewbacca" noise pulling into gear, shifting gears, and more. After calling the dealer and visiting a local mechanic, I decided to call Mark. After speaking with him for 20 min over the phone, I felt confident that he would be able to solve the issues. Mark not only fixed my clutch, he installed a better one, fixed a few additional items, provided exceptional service along the way, and didn't rip me off. 3 months after the initial visit, I cracked my wheel after driving over a pothole. Instead of dealing directly with the dealer for parts, I opted to order the wheel from Mark. He's super attentive, friendly, and all around great person and MINI expert. Since then, his shop has since expanded and he's grown his team, so it's been great to continue to receive timely and unparalleled service from MMS Autosport. Highly recommend MMS for all the TLC your MINI needs. And if you want to work in a great environment with lots of MINIs and the gurus themselves, Mark and his team have a long list of loyal customers from all over the southwest region of the US (yes, you will see license plates from NV, AZ, NM in his lot)! I'm a MMS first timer. Mark and his team are fantastic. I had my suspension done and she rides just like she's fresh off the showroom floor. I'm sure I smiled all the way home. Mark gave an honest and direct assessment of my car and explained in detail the work done, and prioritized what needs to be done. He takes pride in their work. I've been to quite a few shops, including the dealership, and this is the most confident I've felt in years. I've got plans to do big performance upgrades and MMS is the team to do it. I think I've finally found my shop!

Mark and MMS were extremely helpful, they figured why the check engine light was on, on my girlfriends 2016 cooper. After finding the problem they even called the dealership to see if the car was still under warranty, which it was. They were extremely helpful and informative and I will definitely be coming back for maintenance when her warranty is up. Thank you Mark!

This is my 1st time at MMS and by far this has been the most informative experience I have ever had. Brought my 2013 JCW Clubman for an oil change and get looked at for repairs and Mark,the owner, let me in the shop to show/explain everything my car needed. Yes, I knew my car needed work but it put it more in prospective to actually see things he was talking about. I felt more at ease knowing what to look for while taking my car home. Vanessa was also a big help. She was very welcoming when I came in. She explained everything that was going to happen to my car during the inspection. Not only that she came out form her desk to come talk to me while I was waiting. It made me feel so comfortable here. I didn't feel so intimidated like if I were at any other shop. I'd definitely recommend this shop for MINI/BMW owners :)

I was recommended by a friend to Mark's shop and I'm so glad I did! For the first couple of years of owning my Mini, I had taken it to the dealership, and when my coverage finally ended, the dealership experience definitely changed. They were no longer helpful and started offering services that I didn't need at that moment. Which got costly, real fast. After coming to MMS, I'm happy to know I have a place I can trust. Mark has been working on Mini for a long time and has built his career at the dealerships prior, so you know you're getting the same quality. The difference is he's transparent and cares about building relationships. Throughout the process there, he kept me in the loop and explained everything, and would only proceed if I were comfortable. And he was also upfront about things that I would need to fix urgently versus what I could wait on so I never felt pressured to get a ton of repairs. You can trust that he has your best interest at heart and will take care of your Mini! :)
