Mark is an awesome mechanic who's true to his word, charges a fair price, and builds great relationships with his customers. I took my 2015 MINI 5-door S for a full inspection, oil change and brake fluid upgrade, and he came through with flying colors. Skip the dealer! I recently purchased a used 2012 Countryman which is still under warranty, however I've already experienced the dealer of which to get in the door will cost you an automatic $200.00 just to diagnose, no repair included. My Mini became undriveable recently and rather than go to the dealer I went to Yelp. Thank you to my fellow "Yelper's" that recommended MMS Autosport. Mark the owner is genuinely a great person and mechanic to boot! He was very accommodating because I had to arrange a flatbed to deliver my vehicle which was the most difficult part of getting my car fixed. He was quick to diagnose the problem (bad ignition coil) and noted I had an almost dead battery and was short about a quart of oil. He basically checked the entirety of the engine even after he figured out what was wrong. He told me to make sure the dealer changes a handful of consumable parts on my next oil change there. Did I mention he called Mini USA on my behalf to find out what is exactly covered with my warranty so I wouldn't have pay for covered items? He gave me a list parts the dealer should address and replace. I felt I was charged a fair price for the services and parts rendered. I would like to also mention that while driving my normal route home I noticed my car was driving smoother than normal. Mark had balanced my tires for me. I am so pleased to support honest business owners who care about their customers and who do quality work. Thank you MMS Autosport and crew, I appreciate your work!

This is a long overdue review... Mark is the best. He has been my go-to person whenever my MINI gives me trouble. Since the first time I meet him, I trusted him and felt that he was not going to try and rip me off and I was right. He explains everything in so much detail and his prices are great. The first time I went to him he told me that my fuel pump needed to be replaced but to call the dealer because most likely I had warranty in which I did and saved myself a lot of $$. He could have kept that information from me and made his share but he didn't. He truly does care for his customers. If your MINI is giving you trouble, do yourself a favor and go to MMS. And while you are there make sure to say Hello to his dog, Jameson.

I highly recommend bringing your Mini here... Here is my story of how I found MMS. My mom and dad were driving their 2012 countryman to LAX to go on vacation and on the way it shifted into safety mode. The called me right away and asked me to help find a place they could get it fixed. I pulled up yelp and MMS Autosport came up I like the reviews and I sent them here. I sent an Uber to pick my them up and get them to the airport. Mark had they car while they were away and was able to get the car back in order with out any problem and had it done before my parents were even back from vacation. I went and picked it up from his shop and everything was super easygoing, I can stress enough how hassle free dealing with him is. Super nice guy and he knows what he is doing! I don't think you can ask for anything further! Thanks again Mark, my father and I will be returning.

Place is great. We had been having a check engine light come up and the engine going into limp mode. We had taken the car to various shops yet nobody had given us a straight answer. Mark did a complimentary bumper to bumper check and gave us an answer, estimate and great service.

I don't usually write reviews on yelp, but I have to say MMS and the owner Mark is fantastic! I was never truly satisfied at the MINI dealer, so I started searching online for an auto repair shop that can take care of my car. MMS had great reviews on yelp, so I decided to give it a shot. Mark is very knowledgeable and he explained me all the details of what's happening to my car. I understood what I was doing wrong and what I should do to take better care of it. The dealer never explained me those things and still charged me much more. Billing is clear and customer service is excellent! He even drove me back home. I am sure I will come back to MMS for my car maintenance from now on.

I baby my MINI, so I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to who I will let work on my car. Mark and the entire crew at MMS are amazing! Their attention to detail is second to none. Honest and educational... Mark explains the service, what he found, his diagnosis, options, and you go from there. MINIs need to be serviced and cared for, and this is the place to go!

I've since gone to Mark's shop twice in 3 months and will be there again soon. My 2009 MINI Cooper S was experiencing major issues: the infamous "chewbacca" noise pulling into gear, shifting gears, and more. After calling the dealer and visiting a local mechanic, I decided to call Mark. After speaking with him for 20 min over the phone, I felt confident that he would be able to solve the issues. Mark not only fixed my clutch, he installed a better one, fixed a few additional items, provided exceptional service along the way, and didn't rip me off. More recently, I cracked my wheel after driving over a pothole. Instead of dealing directly with the dealer for parts, I opted to order the wheel from Mark. He's super attentive, friendly, and all around great person and MINI expert. Highly recommend MMS for all the TLC your MINI needs. And if you want to work in a great environment with lots of MINIs and the guru himself, Mark has a long list of loyal customers from all over the southwest region of the US (yes, you will see license plates from NV, AZ, NM in his lot)! I recommend calling in advance so the timing works for you. I'll be back again in a few weeks/months for my MINI's regular service.

I had a problem with my 2013 Countryman. My friend suggested I reach out on Facebook for help on the problem. I remembered I saw Mark Fernandez in the Group page. I sent him a private message and he answered my questions. I got a ballpark figure of costs and when Corporate Mini made a goodwill offer to me. I knew they were being genuine.
